述曰：第八地中有五種行，此初定行。初無功用，名「入法王位三昧」也。其智似果，說法定故。雖有所說，而於無相無功用住，故言似佛。下內空等十大明慧，所入定門任運流故。諸佛得果，除闇教音，入菩薩心定也。「花」能得果，「光」除闇義。

The commentary says: In the eighth bhūmi there are five kinds of practice; this is the first, the practice of samādhi. Beginning to be effortless is called 'samādhi of entering the stage of the Dharma King'. His wisdom resembles the fruit, being the concentration of expounding the Dharma. Although he expounds, he abides in signlessness and effortlessness, hence he is said to resemble a Buddha. Below, the ten great illuminating wisdoms of internal emptiness and so forth, because the samādhi gates entered flow spontaneously. The Buddhas attain the fruit, and the teaching voice that removes darkness enters the bodhisattva's mind samādhi. 'Flower' can attain the fruit; 'light' has the meaning of removing darkness.
