The commentary says: Fifth, the practice of illumination. 'The essential nature samādhi of all Buddhas' is traditionally explained as corresponding to the virtues of the fruit. 'Reflecting back' means reflecting back on oneself. 'In forward and reverse order' means, like contemplating dependent origination in forward and reverse order, the rest all accord with the objective sphere. From 'immovable' downwards, it explains wisdom, practice, and power. Free from effort, hence 'immovable'. Perpetually subduing defilement, hence 'uninverted'. Constantly realizing the emptiness of persons, it says 'not arising'. Emptiness of dharmas being non-continuous, it says 'not entering'. Perpetually no longer undergoing mortal rebirth of delimited portions, hence it says 'neither arising nor ceasing'. The concluding text is intelligible.
