The commentary states: Speaking of rights and wrongs so as to destroy [the teaching] occurs only within the household [of Buddhism]; it is not something that non-Buddhists and the like are capable of. As the Padmamukha-sūtra states: "The Buddha told Ānanda: 'For example, when a lion dies, whether in the air, on the ground, in the water, or on land, no sentient beings dare eat the flesh of the lion's body. Only the worms born from the lion itself eat the flesh of the lion's worms. Ānanda! My Buddha-Dharma cannot be destroyed by others; it is the monks within my Dharma who destroy the Buddha-Dharma accumulated through my diligent toil across three great asaṃkhyeya kalpas of accumulated practice.'"
