文分三，初、校量問，次、悲泣答，後、印可顯。論文分二，初、標名配，後、釋經文。釋經亦三，此何所顯示？解問文可知。「何故此中」下，解餘二文，合有五，一、釋流淚意，二、破如義想，三、破味著利養有懈怠過，生慚愧及離退精進，四、為離不發起精進，五、勸不放逸生第二慚愧，初三在答中，後二在顯中。

The text is divided into three: first, the question of comparative measurement; next, the weeping response; last, the revelation through endorsement. The text of the treatise is divided into two: first, stating the names and matching them; second, explaining the scriptural text. Explaining the scripture also has three parts. What is revealed here? The explanation of the questioning text can be understood. From 'For what reason here' downwards, the remaining two texts are explained, containing five points in total: 1. Explaining the meaning of weeping; 2. Refuting the ideation of literal meaning; 3. Refuting the fault of indolence due to attachment to relish for gain, generating shame, and separating from regressing in vigor; 4. In order to separate from failing to arouse vigor; 5. Exhorting non-heedlessness and generating the second conscience. The first three are in the response, and the latter two are in the revelation.
