第四天等供養中，初、配屬經，後、釋。支提供養之儀，以華為鬘繫掛項咽，今捨入塔；塗香者，磨紫、白檀、沈香等，以水和之，塗於塔上；末香者，碎擣沈檀，以散塔內；餘者可知。外財內敬，略無言讚。

In the fourth, "Offerings by Gods and Others," there is first the correlation to the sūtra, and then the explanation. As for the etiquette of making offerings to a caitya: using flowers as garlands to hang around the neck, and now relinquishing them into the stūpa; as for paste incense, grinding purple and white sandalwood, aloeswood, and so forth, mixing them with water, and smearing it upon the stūpa; as for powdered incense, crushing and pounding aloeswood and sandalwood to scatter them inside the stūpa; the rest can be understood. External wealth and internal reverence are treated briefly without verbal praises.
