五名佛所護念者，下經云「佛自住大乘」，故佛常護念此法，今還為眾生說大乘，亦眾生得住大乘，即眾生亦令為佛所護念。又如《攝論》云「十二部經從法身流出」，即是今文「依佛如來有此法故」也。

"Fifth, it is called That which the Buddhas Protect and Keep in Mind": the sūtra below says, "The Buddha himself abides in the Mahāyāna"; hence the Buddha constantly protects and keeps this Dharma in mind. Now he in turn explains the Mahāyāna for sentient beings, also enabling sentient beings to abide in the Mahāyāna, which means sentient beings are also caused to be protected and kept in mind by the Buddha. Furthermore, as the Mahāyānasaṃgraha says, "The twelve divisions of the scriptures flow forth from the dharmakāya," which corresponds to the present text's statement, "because this Dharma exists in reliance on the Buddha, the Tathāgata."
