1.18

謂深利智者，一聞即解為利達至理。所以斯論不盛傳者，末世群生既多淺鈍，故知知音者希矣。

"Those of deep and sharp faculties" means that understanding upon hearing once is sharp, reaching the ultimate principle. The reason this treatise has not circulated widely is that the multitude of sentient beings in the final age are mostly shallow and dull; hence we know that those who understand its tone are rare.
