「種種佛土者」，自上已來釋彌勒疑念竟，今第二釋彌勒發問。大眾中問有二章：一問意、二正問。今但釋正問，不釋問意。正問中有二：一長行、二偈頌，今具釋二也。釋長行中有二：一正釋、二舉經示釋處。正釋有二：一釋現瑞、二釋覩瑞。

Regarding "the manifold Buddha lands," from the above down to here, the explanation of Maitreya's doubts and thoughts is finished; now, secondly, it explains Maitreya asking his question. Among the questions in the assembly, there are two sections: first, the intention of the question; second, the actual question. Here it only explains the actual question, and does not explain the intention of the question. Within the actual question there are two parts: first, the prose; second, the verses; here it fully explains both. In explaining the prose there are two parts: first, the actual explanation; second, citing the sūtra to indicate the passage being explained. The actual explanation has two parts: first, explaining the manifestation of auspicious signs; second, explaining the viewing of the auspicious signs.
