一者欲論大法、二者欲雨大法雨、三者欲擊大法鼓、四者欲建大法幢、五者欲燃大法燈、六者欲吹大法螺、七者欲不斷大法鼓、八者欲說大法。

"First, wishing to discourse on the great Dharma; second, wishing to rain the great Dharma rain; third, wishing to beat the great Dharma drum; fourth, wishing to set up the great Dharma banner; fifth, wishing to kindle the great Dharma torch; sixth, wishing to blow the great Dharma conch; seventh, wishing to continuously beat the great Dharma drum; eighth, wishing to preach the great Dharma."
