「歸命過未世」下，第二次明申敬請護。即開為兩：半行致敬、一偈請護。各兩。初二者，「歸命」兩字明能歸之至誠。

From "Taking refuge in past and future" downward is the second, clarifying the expression of veneration and request for protection. This is opened into two parts: half a line conveys veneration, and one verse requests protection. Each has two parts. Regarding the first two: the two characters "taking refuge" clarify the utmost sincerity of the one capable of taking refuge.
