一者受持讀誦甚深，如經「佛曾親近供養無量百千萬億無數諸佛」故。
[The Treatise says:] "First is the profundity of receiving, upholding, reading, and reciting, as the sūtra [says]: 'The Buddha formerly drew near to and made offerings to immeasurable hundreds of thousands of myriads of koṭis of countless Buddhas.'"
