「次說如來法師功德」者，第二次明法師功德。就文為二：一者總明法師功德、二別明法師功德。前明妙法功德，亦初總、後別，二種甚深為總、阿含甚深為別。今亦明總別也。就總中為二：一論主總標法師功德、二者引經證。

Regarding "Next is to speak of the Tathāgata's merits as a Dharma master": secondly, it explains the merits of a Dharma master. There are two parts to the text: first, explaining in general the merits of a Dharma master; second, specifically explaining the merits of a Dharma master. Previously, in explaining the merits of the wondrous Dharma, it was also first general and then specific: the two kinds of profundity were general, and the profundity of the āgama was specific. Here too, it explains the general and the specific. Within the general there are two parts: first, the author of the Treatise generally indicates the merits of a Dharma master; second, citing the sūtra as proof.
