上明四種方便，今明四著者，為有四種著故。所以說四方便，非是別治，但是總治耳。

Above, four kinds of skillful means were clarified; here, four attachments are clarified, because there are four kinds of attachments. The reason for expounding the four skillful means is not that they are specific antidotes, but merely general antidotes.
