前第一佛經明七種。佛內自證七法，然後為物說法，此即是為物說證法。論主後明七種法，若望佛經令眾生成就如此七法也，即是為物說教法也。

The former first Buddha-sūtra clarifies seven kinds: the Buddha internally realizes the seven dharmas himself and then expounds the Dharma for beings; this is expounding the dharma of realization for beings. The treatise master subsequently clarifies seven kinds of dharmas: viewed from the perspective of the Buddha's sūtra, causing sentient beings to accomplish such seven dharmas is expounding the dharma of teaching for beings.
