悔取小乘亦是可驚怖。問：悔取小乘應是道理，云何名驚怖？答：不應取小而取小竟，復悔取小，故亦是可驚怖事。

Regretting having taken up the Hinayāna is also something that can cause fear. Question: Regretting having taken up the Hinayāna should be reasonable; why is it called fear? Answer: One ought not to have taken up the Small [Vehicle], yet one did take up the Small [Vehicle]; and now one further regrets having taken up the Small [Vehicle]. Therefore, it is also a matter that can cause fear.
