觀陰界入厭苦者，謂見道前七方便也。離苦得解脫故者，由具起諸方便故得解脫。
"Contemplating the aggregates, realms, and sense fields, detesting suffering" refers to the seven skillful means prior to the path of vision. "Because of becoming free from suffering and attaining liberation" means that because one fully arouses the various skillful means, one attains liberation.
