「自此已下」者，釋〈方便品〉中第五斷疑章。即釋經中「諸佛如來出五濁世」竟長行也。就文為二：第一總明為斷四疑、第二別釋。就初文又三：第一總明佛說法為斷四疑。

"From here onward" explains the fifth chapter in the "Skillful Means Chapter," on severing doubts. That is, it explains the prose passage in the sūtra ending with "all Buddha Tathāgatas appear in the world of the five defilements." In the text there are two parts: first, generally clarifying that it is to sever four doubts; second, explaining them separately. In the first text there are again three parts: first, generally clarifying that the Buddha expounds the Dharma to sever four doubts.
