「乃至童子戲聚沙為佛塔」，自上已來釋經後長行，今此釋偈。就文為二：初釋一偈、次例餘偈。初文有二：前牒偈；從「謂發菩提心」已下，釋偈。

"Even children at play gathering sand into Buddha stūpas": from above until now, the prose following the sūtra has been explained; now this explains the verses. As for the text, there are two parts: first, explaining one verse; next, treating the remaining verses by analogy. The first text has two parts: first, citing the verse; from "namely, generating the bodhicitta" below, it explains the verse.
