2.85

何等為二？一者證甚深，謂諸佛智慧甚深無量故。二者阿含甚深，謂其智慧門甚深無量故。言甚深者是總相，餘者是別。

What are the two? First is the profundity of realization, meaning that the wisdom of the Buddhas is profoundly deep and immeasurable. Second is the profundity of the scriptures (āgama), meaning that the gateway of their wisdom is profoundly deep and immeasurable. The word 'profoundly deep' is the general characteristic; the others are the specific.
