種子無上即是菩提心。《華嚴》云「菩提心者，是十方三世諸佛種子，三世諸佛以菩提心成正覺故」。
The peerless seed is the bodhicitta. The Avataṃsaka says: "The bodhicitta is the seed of all buddhas of the ten directions and the three times, because the buddhas of the three times attain perfect awakening through the bodhicitta."
