〈壽量品〉是如來說法功德，〈分別功德品〉是如來說人功德。以法無不顯、人無不利，故數感八種供養。

The "Lifespan Chapter" is the Tathāgata's merit of expounding the Dharma; the "Distinction of Merits Chapter" is the Tathāgata's merit of expounding persons. Because no Dharma was unrevealed and no person unbenefited, they repeatedly stimulated eight kinds of offering.
