「又六根清淨者」，第二重釋。此文可有三義故來：一者上釋眼根見三千乃至意亦爾，今釋六根互用；二者上釋眼根事，今釋鼻根事；三者上明六根各用，今釋互用也。就文為二：初正明六根互用。

"Furthermore, the purification of the six sense faculties", second is explaining again. This text may occur for three reasons: first, above it explained the eye faculty seeing the three thousand down to the mind being likewise, and now it explains the interchangeable use of the six faculties; second, above it explained matters of the eye faculty, and now it explains matters of the nose faculty; third, above it clarified the separate use of the six faculties, and now it explains their interchangeable use. In the text there are two [parts]: first, directly clarifying the interchangeable use of the six faculties.
