如經「釋提桓因在勝殿上五欲娛樂乃至說法」故。聞香知者，此是知境，以鼻根知故。

[Treatise:] "as the sūtra states: 'Śakra Devānām Indra, atop the Palace of Victory, indulges in the pleasures of the five desires, down to expounding the Dharma.' Knowing through smelling fragrance: this is knowing the cognitive object, because it is known through the nose faculty."
