信平等有二：一者信己身與觀音身平等，彼此同一法身；二者德平等，既同一法身亦同一功德。初亦是人平等，後是法平等。

Equality of faith has two aspects: first, having faith that one's own body is equal to Avalokiteśvara's body, as both share one and the same dharmakāya; second, equality of virtue: since they share the same dharmakāya, they also share the same merits. The first is also equality of persons; the second is equality of dharmas.
