2.150

菩提是畢竟常樂處，若不令一切眾生得畢竟常樂，則違菩提。此畢竟常樂依何而得？依大乘門。大乘門者，謂彼安樂佛國土是也。是故又言以攝取眾生生彼國土故。

Bodhi is the place of ultimate, eternal joy. If one does not cause all sentient beings to attain ultimate, eternal joy, one contradicts bodhi. Depending on what is this ultimate, eternal joy attained? It is attained by depending on the Mahāyāna gate. The Mahāyāna gate is that Buddha-land of Peace and Bliss. Therefore it is further said: 'because it embraces sentient beings to be born in that land.'
