2.166

此五種示現入出次第相。入相中，初至淨土是近相，謂入大乘正定聚，近阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。入淨土已便入如來大會眾數，入眾數已當至修行安心之宅，入宅已當至修行所居屋㝢（尤舉反），修行成就已當至教化地，教化地即是菩薩自娛樂地，是故出門稱園林遊戲地門。

These five show the sequential characteristics of entry and exit. Among the characteristics of entry, first arriving at the Pure Land is the characteristic of approach, meaning entering the Mahāyāna group of correct determination and approaching anuttarā-samyak-saṃbodhi. Having entered the Pure Land, one then enters the assembly of the Tathāgata. Having entered the assembly, one will arrive at the mansion for pacifying the mind through practice. Having entered the mansion, one will arrive at the room where practice is resided in. Practice having been accomplished, one will arrive at the ground of teaching and transforming; the ground of teaching and transforming is precisely the ground where the bodhisattva takes delight for oneself; therefore the gate of exit is called the gate of the ground of sporting in gardens and groves.
