觀察彼佛國土莊嚴功德成就者，有十七種應知。何等十七？一者莊嚴清淨功德成就、二者莊嚴量功德成就、三者莊嚴性功德成就、四者莊嚴形相功德成就、五者莊嚴種種事功德成就、六者莊嚴妙色功德成就、七者莊嚴觸功德成就、八者莊嚴三種功德成就、九者莊嚴雨功德成就、十者莊嚴光明功德成就、十一者莊嚴妙聲功德成就、十二者莊嚴主功德成就、十三者莊嚴眷屬功德成就、十四者莊嚴受用功德成就、十五者莊嚴無諸難功德成就、十六者莊嚴大義門功德成就、十七者莊嚴一切所求滿足功德成就。

Regarding the contemplation of the accomplishment of the adornment of merits of that Buddha-land, one should know that there are seventeen kinds. What are the seventeen? First, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of purity; second, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of measure; third, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of nature; fourth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of form and appearance; fifth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of various things; sixth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of wondrous color; seventh, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of touch; eighth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the three kinds of merit; ninth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of rain; tenth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of light; eleventh, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of wondrous sound; twelfth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of the lord; thirteenth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of the retinue; fourteenth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of enjoyment; fifteenth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of freedom from all perils; sixteenth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of the gate of great meaning; seventeenth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the merit of fulfilling all wishes.
