2.86

何等八種？一者莊嚴座功德成就、二者莊嚴身業功德成就、三者莊嚴口業功德成就、四者莊嚴心業功德成就、五者莊嚴大眾功德成就、六者莊嚴上首功德成就、七者莊嚴主功德成就、八者莊嚴不虛作住持功德成就。何者莊嚴座功德成就？偈言「無量大寶王，微妙淨華臺」故。

What are the eight? First, the accomplishment of the adornment of the seat merits; second, the accomplishment of the adornment of body karma merits; third, the accomplishment of the adornment of speech karma merits; fourth, the accomplishment of the adornment of mind karma merits; fifth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the great assembly merits; sixth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the leaders merits; seventh, the accomplishment of the adornment of the master merits; eighth, the accomplishment of the adornment of the sustaining power of not acting in vain merits. What is the accomplishment of the adornment of the seat merits? It is because the verse says, 'The immeasurable king of great jewels, / The subtle and pure flower dais.'
