清冷雲中，喻行道無欲。霹靂，喻懷瞋恚。郭璞云「雷之急激者謂霹靂」。論云「示道分中不應有故」。

"Amidst clear and cool clouds" is an analogy for practicing the Dao free from desire. "A thunderbolt" is an analogy for harboring anger. Guo Pu says: "The swift and vehement thunder is called a thunderbolt." The treatise says: "Because it is shown that it ought not to exist within the portion of the Dao."
