〔補註〕抒水還珠、刺股取印、輟席成道，世出世間何有難事？豈同外道者，明今是勤修正道故。

[Supplementary note:] Bailing out water to retrieve a pearl, piercing the thigh to receive the seal [of ministry], or giving up one's mat to realize the Way—what difficult matter is there in the worldly or supramundane? “How could this be the same as non-Buddhists” clarifies that here one diligently cultivates the correct path.
