〔補註〕中間所度無量，則被機不一故。始陳如、終跋陀，似專為小乘，而實兼乎大乘也。

[Supplementary note] Since those delivered in the intermediate period were immeasurable, the capacities addressed were not of one kind. Beginning with Kauṇḍinya and ending with Subhadra, it seems exclusively for the Small Vehicle, yet in fact it embraces the Great Vehicle as well.
