功德，指上所說。一心者，無間斷故，制之一處，即是於第一義心修也。如怨賊者，遠離一心相違行，如怨賊故。

'Merits' refers to what was spoken of above. 'Single-minded' means without interruption; keeping [the mind] constrained in one place is indeed cultivation in the mind of the ultimate truth. 'Like a spiteful robber': one stays away from conduct contrary to single-mindedness, just as one avoids a spiteful robber.
