〔補註〕癡暗，即無明也。凡夫見有我及我所，此見從無明生，非智不滅。

[Supplementary note] The darkness of delusion is precisely ignorance. Ordinary people see a self and what belongs to a self; this view arises from ignorance, and cannot be extinguished without wisdom.
