1.47

持淨戒者，不得販賣貿易、安置田宅、畜養人民奴婢畜生、一切種植，及諸財寶皆當遠離，如避火坑。不得斬伐草木、墾土掘地。

"Those who uphold the pure precepts must not engage in buying, selling, or trade; establishing fields and houses; keeping people, slaves, maidservants, or livestock; all kinds of planting; and all kinds of wealth and jewels should all be kept far away, as if avoiding a pit of fire. You must not chop down grass and trees, or plow the soil and dig the ground."
