〔補註〕雖名五勸，大意通結上文。能有善法者，即戒能生定生慧也。詳言之，則六度萬行皆由此生故。安隱之處雖多，戒為第一，無能過者。

[Supplementary note:] Although they are called five exhortations, their general meaning comprehensively concludes the preceding text. "Can possess good dharmas" means that the precepts can generate concentration and generate wisdom. Stated in detail, it is because the six perfections and myriad practices all arise from this. Although places of peace are many, the precepts are foremost; nothing can surpass them.
