「已說根境至今次當說」者，此下第三釋無表。就中，一明無表相、二明能造大。此即第一明無表相。結前問起。

Regarding "Faculties and objects have been explained […] now it should be explained": Below, this thirdly explains non-informative [matter] (avijñapti). Within this, first it clarifies the characteristic of non-informative [matter], and second it clarifies the great elements that produce it. This is the first, clarifying the characteristic of non-informative [matter]. It concludes the preceding and introduces the question.
