「已說受等至并立處界」者，此下第三明識蘊體。就中，一明識蘊、二釋妨難。此即明識蘊。結前問起。

"Having already explained sensation and the others ... along with establishing the āyatanas and dhātus": Below, this is third, clarifying the essential nature of the vijñāna-skandha. Within this, there are two parts: first, clarifying the vijñāna-skandha; second, resolving objections. This clarifies the vijñāna-skandha, concluding what precedes and introducing the question.
