「何緣十處至立法處名」者，此下第五明名廢立。問：若礙故名為色，應十竝名色；若持故名為法，應一切皆名法。何故唯一立以通名？

Regarding [the text from] “For what reason do ten āyatanas …” to “… establish the name of ‘dharma-āyatana’,” this is the fifth section below, clarifying the adoption and rejection of designations. Question: If it is called form (rūpa) because of obstruction, the ten should all equally be called form; if it is called dharma because of upholding, all should be called dharma. For what reason is only one established with the general name?
