"Some exist, namely anāsrava contact and the like of another stage" is the answer. The Nyāyānusāra, fascicle 30, states: "For what reason are anāsrava contact and so forth not nutriments? A nutriment means that which can lead to and sustain existences, being the locus where loathsome and abandonable craving grows. Although the anāsrava sustains an existence led to by other [factors], it does not itself have the capacity to lead to existence, nor is it the locus where loathsome and abandonable craving grows; therefore, it is not established among the four nutriments. Due precisely to this reason, in relation to other realms and stages, even sāsrava dharmas are not the substance of nutriment. Although dharmas of other realms and stages can also serve as causes sustaining present existence, they cannot act as causes leading to future existence; therefore they are not called nutriments. When anāsrava dharmas are present, although they can serve as causes sustaining the faculties and primary elements, they cannot act as causes leading to future existence. Although they temporarily serve as causes sustaining the faculties and primary elements, they do so solely wishing to accomplish their own superior basis, swiftly heading toward nirvāṇa to permanently extinguish all existences. When sāsrava [dharmas] of one's own stage are present, they sustain the present to make it increase and are able to bring about future existence. By this, the meaning of solid nutriment acting as a cause to bring about future existence has already been explained. That is, when the nutriments of contact and the like lead to future existence, they also lead to future internal dharmas such as odor. Present internal odor and the like sustain the cause—contact and the like—enabling it to lead to future existence, and can also themselves take future odor and the like as their outflow result (niṣyanda-phala). Therefore, because solid nutriment shares the same result with the cause of future existence, it can also lead to existence, and is thus called nutriment."
