「諸師於此至說名為觸」者，此下敘說不同。諸師於此觸覺慧不同。有經部師說根、境、識三和合即名為觸。經證可知。

"Various masters here [...] is designated contact": this begins the account of different assertions. Various masters have different cognitions regarding this contact. There are Sautrāntika masters who state that the conjunction of the three—faculty, object, and consciousness—is itself designated contact. The scriptural evidence may be known.
