「此中亦許至何理能遮」者，經部釋通。此亦前後因果，非是同時。謂前根、境緣，能發後識果。前念能造四大種因，能生後念所造色果，何能遮？

Regarding "Here too it is accepted … what reasoning could prevent this?": the Sautrāntika explains and clarifies. This too is cause and effect in sequence, not simultaneous. That is, the prior conditions of sense faculty and object are able to generate the posterior effect of consciousness. The cause of the primary four great elements of the prior moment can produce the effect of derived form of the posterior moment. What could prevent this?
