「頌曰至增滿萬六千」者，俱盧舍，此云鳴喚。所以無雲減三踰繕那者，從變異受。初修不變異受難，故減三也。又解：為成色究竟天萬六千故，所以減三。又解：法爾故然。餘文可知。

Regarding "The verse says […] increasing fully to sixteen thousand": A krośa is called here a "cry" (minghuan). As for why the Anabhraka decreases by three yojanas: this proceeds from altered feeling. Initially cultivating unaltering feeling is difficult; therefore, it decreases by three. Another explanation: it is in order to bring the Akaniṣṭha heaven to sixteen thousand; hence it decreases by three. Another explanation: it is just naturally so. The remaining text can be understood.
