「有餘師說至各唯二萬」者，此師意說，其四層級漸次却入侵山體成，如第一層兩邊共有三萬二千，第二層兩邊共有一萬六千，足前成四萬八千。第三層兩邊共有八千，足前成五萬六千。第四層兩邊共有四千，足前成六萬。故說山頂面各二萬。若據周量，有八十千。《婆沙》、《正理》皆有兩說，并無評家。

Regarding the passage from "Other masters say" to "each is only twenty thousand": The intent of this master is that the four terraces step back gradually into the body of the mountain: as on the first terrace both sides have thirty-two thousand in total, on the second terrace both sides have sixteen thousand in total, which added to the previous makes forty-eight thousand. On the third terrace both sides have eight thousand in total, which added to the previous makes fifty-six thousand. On the fourth terrace both sides have four thousand in total, which added to the previous makes sixty thousand. Therefore it is said that each side of the mountain peak is twenty thousand. If taken by perimeter, there are eighty thousand. The Mahāvibhāṣā and the Nyāyānusāra both have two accounts, and neither gives a critical verdict.
