「頌曰至後當廣辨」者，可知。今准後文，前文初師說初定如四洲者為正。又《正理》云「此中小千唯舉其梵世故，小光等非小千界攝。積小千等為中大千故，中大千亦不攝彼。又言小者是卑下義，以除上故，如截角牛。積小成餘，亦非攝彼。」

Regarding "The verse says […] will be explained extensively later": this can be understood. Now, relying on the subsequent text, the earlier text's first master who stated that the first dhyāna is like the four continents is correct. Furthermore, the *Nyāyānusāra* says: "Because here the small-thousand heaven only mentions its Brahmaloka, Parīttābha and so forth are not included within the small-thousand realm. Because the aggregation of small-thousands and so forth constitutes the medium- and great-thousand, the medium- and great-thousand also do not include them. Furthermore, the word 'small' has the meaning of 'inferior', because the higher are excluded, like a cow with its horns cut off. Aggregating the small to make the rest likewise does not include them."
