12.32
「為欲利樂至求無上菩提」者，答。為益有情，長時修願，故捨二乘涅槃小道，迴求無上正等菩提。
"Desiring to benefit and bring happiness [...] seeks unsurpassed bodhi" is the answer. To benefit sentient beings, they cultivate vows over a long time; therefore, relinquishing the lesser path of the nirvāṇa of the two vehicles, they turn around to seek unsurpassed complete enlightenment.
