「除能引集至生芽等力」者，勝論答。此種子等除能引集芽等常微，種等更無有別勝力親生芽等，以此芽等各從自分芽等生故。

"Except for being able to attract and assemble […] the power to produce sprouts and the like": The Vaiśeṣika answers: Apart from being able to attract and assemble the eternal atoms of the sprout and so forth, these seeds and the like have no other distinct superior capacity directly to produce sprouts and the like, because these sprouts and the like each arise from sprout-parts that are their own parts.
