「從異類生定不應理」者，勝論答。芽地大等從其異類種地大等生，定不應理。彼計芽種雖復俱以地大為體，然類各別。

"Arising from a different kind is definitively unreasonable": The Vaiśeṣika answers: For the earth element of a sprout and so forth to arise from the earth element of a seed and so forth of a different kind is definitively unreasonable. They hold that although sprout and seed both have the earth element as their substance, their kinds are distinct.
