「有說有依至相續增長」者，敘經部異師。有說：有依諸福業事得增長時，非唯由彼所施財物，亦由施主數習緣彼境物勝思，故說恒時相續增長。又解：此師意說，不但無依由數修習緣彼境思福恒增長，有依諸福亦由數習緣彼境思相續增長。

"Some say that with a support ... increases continuously" records a different Sautrāntika master. Some say: when the various bases of meritorious karma with a support increase, it is not solely due to the material goods bestowed, but also due to the donor's frequent habituation of superior volition directed toward those objects and items; therefore, it is said to increase constantly and continuously. Another explanation: this master means that not only does supportless merit constantly increase through the frequent cultivation of volition directed toward that object, but merits with a support also increase continuously through the frequent habituation of volition directed toward that object.
