「隨轉於業有何功能」者，問。「雖有先因至如死業應無」者，答。雖有先因為能引發業，若無隨轉心、心所者，猶如死人，業應無有。

"What function does the conforming [mind] have in regard to action?": this asks a question. Regarding "Although there is a prior cause..." up to "action would be non-existent, as in a dead person": this answers. Although there is a prior cause acting as that which induces the action, if there were no conforming mind and mental factors, then, just as in a dead person, action would not exist.
