「說住律儀至由何而得」者，此下大文第三明得戒緣別。就中，一明得三律儀、二明得時分齊、三明近住律儀、四明近事律儀、五明三律儀別。此即第一明得三律儀。結前問起。

"Having explained those abiding in restraint … by what is it obtained?" is the third major division below: clarifying the distinct conditions for obtaining precepts. Within this, there are five: first, clarifying the acquisition of the three restraints; second, clarifying the time limits of acquisition; third, the upavāsa restraint; fourth, the upāsaka restraint; fifth, the differences among the three restraints. This is the first: clarifying the acquisition of the three restraints. It summarizes the preceding and introduces the question.
